I joined EXIT last year at the prodding of my then buyer's agent, Yanni Athanasiadis. He convinced me that I would be great in real estate and that EXIT was the place for me. But I had my reservations. First, I wasn't sure I wanted a career. Second, I was new to Jacksonville and wasn't keen on my first impression with people being that of a salesperson. But after I joined, my fears subsided. After spending some time in the office, I began to become familiar with the wonderful people I worked with and found that I had a lot in common with them. Truth be told, they were just as scared as I was at the time. I began forming relationships with these people and even found that each of them had something to teach me. Braden spent hours coaching me convincing me to "fake it till you make it." Ellen was there to answer my questions, talk me through the rough spots and remind me to "just breathe." Even Aileen took part in my training as she became my in house psychiatrist- letting me cry out my frustrations as she handed me Kleenex. And, through broken deals and many mistakes I "kept on trucking." Then, in March, I hit bottom. I began to doubt myself and my skills and I was near quitting real estate altogether. Then, I got a great opportunity.
Christina Pitz was looking to build a team and was desperate for an assistant. I signed up with her as a buyer's agent at first, but I just didn't enjoy the position. So, after a lot of thinking and stressing, I offered myself to Christina as her assistant. She immediately put me to work and we have been a team ever since. I love my career now and the opportunities I have to help other people have broadened my horizons. What I am trying to say is EXIT has allowed me to define my own career. I don't have to be a "cookie cutter" Real Estate agent. I have the freedom to decide which direction I want my career to go. The possibilities with EXIT are endless and the support I have received from my co-workers, now my friends, has encouraged me to keep striving for the top. I sincerely hope that I will have the distinct honor of working with EXIT for many years to come. EXIT and the people within the company have changed my life and I am forever grateful.

Please allow me to share my story. I received my Real Estate License in October of last year and began my search for agency affiliation in February of this year. At that time, I could not afford to leave my full time day job until I knew I would be successful listing and selling properties, and had a steady income. After the first 4 or 5 interviews I was pretty discouraged. No one seemed to offer flexibility, training on my schedule, no desk fees, guaranteed duty time, and a team environment. Then I interviewed with EXIT REALTY. I left my full time job in April and am busier than ever.

"WOW, I can't begin to tell you how excited I have been with EXIT. When I was looking around for a company to work for, they all said I could not expect to make more than 20 to 25 thousand my first year. THEY WERE WRONG. I made close to 40K my first 6 months in the business. I am on track this year for a lot more. It's a no brainer. Do I want to make 70% or 50% with other companies that say you not suppose to make that kind of money? We also get residual income off people that we sponsor. We help them and the company helps us.
