Grand Prize: A trip for two to Hawaii. Includes flight from Raleigh or Myrtle Beach 5 Days (4 nights) stay Bookings between Sep 15 and Nov 15 (excluding special circumstances) A $2,500.00 Value!!!
Second place: $500 EXIT Marketing Dollars
Sales Contest period 2/15/2007 – 7/31/2007 (Winner will be announced in August 2007.)
Agents earn points for each qualified Sales Closing as well as points for the number of Closings they accumulate. Bonus points are awarded for recruiting agents.
The Math behind the points awarded:
1. The value of the Property: Each piece of property that closes is assigned points by dividing the value in dollars by 1,000 and the total point assigned not to exceed 1,000 points. (in other words 1 point per $1,000) e.g.: $150,000.00 home listed has a point value of 150 A $380,000.00 Closing has a point value of 380 A $2,500,000.00 Closing has a point value of 1,000 (remember the highest point value of any closing is 1,000. (Note: the above was designed to attenuate the variation between all of our markets. A person with a $10M will not be a runaway winner and will need to continue to accumulate points from other closings if they desire to win.)
2. Points for the number of Closings: Points are given for the number of Closings an agent accumulates during the contest period. The points increase in value as the agent brings more and more Closings in the following manner: 1 to 5 closings are worth 200 points per closing. 6 to 10 closings – 225 points per closing. 11 to 15 closings – 250 points per closing, and so forth. For example if an agent ends the contest period with 7 closings his points will be: 5 x 200 + 2 x 225 or 1,450 points for the number of closings. (Of course these points are added up to the property value points. (Note: Agents gain points by bringing more closings. The point system is designed in an escalated manner to encourage the garnering of more closings.)
3. Super Sponsor Bonus Points: An agent who sponsors another agent that is still active through the contest period will be awarded 500 points
Why all the math? When we went about designing this Sales Contest we were conscientious about inclusion. We desired a fair competition between agents no matter what Real Estate Market they worked in. We also did not want to penalize agents that will be joining us in the near future. We desired a contest that remains open and challenging till the end.
It is impossible for us to write all the necessary disclaimers that accompany a particular contest. If questions do arise the Brokers in Charge in conjunction with Martin Evans will have the final say – please respect their decision. Fair play and fair implementation are the driving force of this contest. The point system may confuse some but if you have any questions feel free to email me: Key@RealEXIT.com.
Rules Qualified Closings require proper documentation and all data entry maintained as per all MLS Rules and regulations – Brokers in Charge will verify and qualify each closing. Only Closings that pay commission at closing qualify. Qualified closings must be in their proper MLS system.
